To our oneTILT community,
We write today with a difficult update on oneTILT. We recently made the incredibly difficult decision to sunset oneTILT given the macroeconomic climate, oneTILT will cease operations on or before December 31, 2022.
We recognize that this is a hard update to receive, and we don’t take this decision lightly. We fully believe in and are proud of the work and impact that oneTILT has had over the last six years – alongside clients, fellows, one another, and so many others in our oneTILT community.
The fellowship has been one of core philanthropically funded experiences, and we’re still working with fellowship leadership to determine what the next phase will look like. We recognize that during a time like this, clarity is needed, and we are committed to working with our fellowship leaders and fellows to determine next steps after the December journey.
For our current partners, we are committed to seeing our partnerships through to the end of the year, and we’re in active conversation with each respective organization on a plan that sets everyone up for continued growth and impact in their respective DEI journeys.
Our board is committed to supporting all oneTILT team members during this tough time. We are committed to centering our people, whether that means supporting their next job search – from offering resumes reviews to a job board to connecting with recruiters and serving as references. Further, all staff have been provided with opportunities for ongoing contract work as we close out our existing client relationships.
Finally, we’d like to share immense gratitude to everyone in our oneTILT community. Our closing ritual in learning experiences invites us to celebrate some love and take action, to identify that oneTILT – that one tiny inclusive little thing – we can do to commit to ongoing change and growth in this work. We’re hopeful that the time folks have spent with oneTILT will continue to spark inspiration as we individually and collectively continue to advance equity in our respective workplaces and communities. While we are incredibly sad for this particular chapter closing at oneTILT, we send out so much love for all the learning, unlearning, impact, connection, joy, discovery, creativity, and possibility that we’ve seen ripple across the oneTILT community over these past six years.
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to board@onetilt.org.
All our best,
oneTILT board
